After a long time, Madagascar,A Dreamworks Animation, was one movie( the animation sort) which made the audience laugh their heart out. The movie was so firmly held with the storyline and with the characters so animated and daily life-like.
The story is located in the animal zoo of New York Central Park. Believe this, A Lion(Alex)- a carnivore,
A Giraffe(Mellman)-a herbivore, A Zebra(Marty) and a Hippopotamus(Gloria), they work as a team and together routinely perform in front of the millions and millions of people who visit the famous zoo. Marty has a dream to quit the monotonous work of the zoo and go explore the wild of Africa :) whilst his friends love this leisure life of entertaaining people, especially Alex.
Its Marty's birthday and its this dream is what he wishes for , to come true, and guess what.. he is granted with it... hmm.. sort of granted, I should say.
Overnight, Marty absconds from his cage in search of the wild and his friends too escape in search of their beloved friend. On par with these characters are the gang of four penguins who have been mapping their way out of zoo to the North Pole.
The rest of the story is about how these characters survive in the wild and who they face and their efforts to return home from the dangerous wild.
